Sales Assistant

The Assistant Sales Account Manager will assist the account manager with multiple accounts while managing all sample requests and executing sales reports.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in all aspects of order management and the operations of the sales department
  • Assist in all aspects of the sales process including showroom management, market preparation and administrative support
  • Communicate daily with customers regarding current orders, shipping, current sales, changes in delivery schedules, future orders, etc
  • Communicate with distribution, inventory and returns department
  • Review and analyze selling reports
  • Special projects as needed

Key Requirements

 

  • College Degree in fashion or related field
  • Intermediate Excel skills; Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle workload effectively to meet deadlines
  • Good organization skills with attention to detail
  • Jewelry / Accessory experience a plus

Assistant to VP of Product Development

The Assistant to the Director of Product Development will work have responsibility for all clerical and administrative functions and support the daily activities of Vice President.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Create a weekly status report for samples from vendors
  • Work with License and Design Departments on sample requests
  • Follow up with vendors on samples, costs
  • Prep samples for product reviews
  • Communicate with various vendors on projects as directed
  • Handle and organize all samples including excess product
  • Assist with shipments to vendors and customers as needed
  • Keep vendor profiles updated and organized
  • Special projects as needed

Key Requirements

 

  • College Degree
  • Intermediate Excel skills; Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle workload effectively to meet deadlines
  • Good organization skills with attention to detail
  • Jewelry / Accessory experience a plus

Accounts Receivable: Clerical

The accounts receivable clerical provides support to the company Controller.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Obtain proofs of delivery for major retail accounts – UPS/Federal Express-Online
  • Oracle data entry
  • Prepare forms to submit disputes for the recovery of funds – offset claims
  • Mail monthly account statements
  • Mail/email customer invoices as necessary
  • Issue credits on computer for customer returns
  • Clerical support for special projects

Key Requirements

 

  • 2 years related experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills; Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Oracle database a plus (but will train)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle workload effectively to meet deadlines
  • Good organization skills with attention to detail
